Overview

The Data Solutions Library, a freely available and searchable space for data communications from community projects, seeks to make the archive of communal action and policy change more accessible and easy to navigate.

I was responsible for researching existing models and best practices, and building out user flows and wireframes for potential applications. This included multiple work sessions on comments and tagging features, as well as familiarizing myself and working extensively with the existing prototype in ROAM.

Context

My work at OEDP included extensive work on their Data Dialogues and Data Solutions Library Projects. This includes work in both UX and Graphic Design, as well as research and various production elements. For Data Dialogues, I worked with and restructured OEDP’s Content Management System (using Coda) as part of my research on participants working with environmental data. I then worked on the transcripts and social media rollout for recorded episodes, which included work with otter.ai, Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, and Figma.

Collaborative design and ideation for both Data Dialogues and the Data Solutions library happened on Stickies.io and Miro, including at several workshops on overarching design strategy.
