For this assignment, I chose the poster for Alejandro González Iñárritu’s Birdman . The design of the poster interested me because it relates to the film’s content. The simple grid system and muted color scheme draw attention to Micheal Keaton’s ce
Image from here . This appears to be Jean-Luc Typeface ( http://www.carvalho-bernau.com/jlg/ ), which really is an adaptation of Bell Gothic Black with modified I’s, J’s and G’s.
This alternative poster uses the same typeface, but has a more minimal layout with only three colors. It would be interesting to see which version people find to be more impactful/informative.
